Poor doggie. I'm in London and thinking about those poor animals breaks my heart. I used that photo on a post about the OSPCA "situation". I also posted an alternative view. But I still think it ridiculous that animals should be put down for a skin disease. Thank God the slaughter has (supposedly) stopped!
I was so thrilled when I heard the killing was halted, so I went to the donut shop and bought some coffee and donuts for the supporters. I had been following Sagos story and was thrilled when I saw on the news that she was ready and up for adoption. I cant tell u the shock and dismay when I got there, to see a memorial poster saying RIP Sago, I was stunned and shocked, words failed me. I HATE those people, I want them to suffer some hanious way for the rest of their rotten lives. It was a real blow to my moral. I used to always donate time, money and my own home to these shelters, also saving and placing animals. I will NEVER give them a red cent as long as I live. I will continue to do my own rescue and they can rot. I own two gorgeous shepherds, and have had e others in the past. When I read how she was killed and why. I felt sick, I stayed and picketed a bit but had to leave. I can barely listen to the news, they all make is sound so nice and sweet and all done now that all the animals are spared and yet they continued to kill for different bullshyte reasons. I hope to God they get thiers in the end. I hope the government has the b@lls to do the right thing, enough of this crap already. I have heard for years now, people calling for stronger anit cruelty laws, and time and again, it gets dismissed. Are they waiting for someone/human to be killed in the name of humanity???? Wake the hell up, what a bunch or stupid losers. I better stop now, as I will type something much worse. RIP to all the innocent pets that those evil, heartless, p.o.s's slaughtered. I hope u meet each and everyone of them on the other side when ur time comes and I hope they shred u all to pieces :)
I know, it breaks my heart... when i was up at the protest and saw the tribute to her, and read the sheet, I cried. So awful. I HATE HATE HATE the OSPCA - and I am praying to whatever gods will grant my wish that Kate MacDonald et al are made to pay for their hard hearts and lack of compassion.
Sago sucessfully passed a safer test which was recorded on video, the test is a way of finding out if a dog has any aggression. Sago was also treated to lunch trips on a regular basis by one of the veterinarians (who also liked Sago so much that she refused to uthanize her and another vet had to take over). On her file it states "euthanized for temperament issues"!!! More like "euthanized 'cause we don't give a damm".
